Ana Garcia is an Emmy award-winning TV journalist and host.  

Ana is nationally recognized as a hard-hitting journalist with amazing skills at interviewing people in all sorts of tough circumstances.  

Her unique storytelling style has earned Ana 8 Emmy's, 10 Golden Mikes, and she's been named TV Journalist of the Year a record 5 times by the Los Angeles Press Club. 

As a correspondent for the Emmy winning TV show Crime Watch Daily, Ana’s exclusive investigations helped solve several cold cases. She’s also a contributor on Investigation Discovery and HLN.

Ana hosts Telepicture’s weekly True Crime Daily podcast and its companion YouTube show. Prior to that Ana hosted Politics and Psychics. A fresh and funny show that asked: If it’s not in the polls, maybe it's in the stars? All available on ITunes.

But life can't be all about crime and politics. Her obscure travel stories for The Huffington Post have been published in Japanese.

Ana’s been featured as a special correspondent on the hit TV series Kitchen Nightmares with Chef Gordon Ramsay.

While at KNBC-TV from 2000-2013, she anchored the 6pm News and launched the hugely popular Get Garcia Get Results consumer franchise. 

Ana sits on the board of directors of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Police Activities League. Hollenbeck PAL operates the only civilian/police managed youth program in Boyle Heights that provides a crime diversion project for kids at risk and their parents. Ana helped found The Good News Foundation, a nonprofit created in 2006 by the TV news women of Los Angeles and built 18 computer labs. Ana is also a volunteer for Mending Kids International traveling to Cambodia to provide free heart surgery for children.

Ana is a graduate of St. John’s University in New York, where she studied Communications.

Her latest hobby is learning Mah Jongg.
